Dictionary Detectives
In one of our English lessons, we practised the skill of using a dictionary. First we ordered words in alphabetical order. We then used dictionaries to look up the meaning of different words and recorded their definitions in our books.

Tres Bien Pain Au Chocolat!
Finlay was truly in the French spirit last night, he baked some French treats for Poplar class!

Scientist of the Week
Meet our new Scientist of the week, Charlie!
He has impressed Poplar class with his knowledge of electric hazards and how to stay safe around electricity. He worked so hard to share his knowledge with the other children. Well done Charlie!
Reception Nativity
Each Reception class put on an amazing performance for their families. All the children sang beautifully and remembered their lines. The teachers were very proud and everyone left feeling very festive. Well done Reception!
Victorian Day in Maple Class
Maple Class had a fabulous day on Wednesday. It was Victorian Day and we did lots of different activities. We wrote on chalkboards, played with Victorian toys, made peg dolls and even did some Victorian dancing!
