Computing
This week in computing, we have been learning about the World Wide Web and who can upload content, thinking about what we must consider before uploading content. We then added our own content to the web using Google Music Lab. You can play on this at home by searching for it on a tablet.

Making bird feeders
In science, our topic is habitats and classification. Today after classifying invertebrates using a classification key, we had a fun activity of making bird feeders to help the birds living in our garden. We have taken them home and will look for a good branch to hang them from.
Nature hunt in Science
In our first science lesson we started our new topic of habitats and classification. After some class work we went outside on a nature hunt in this lovely sunny weather.
Goodbye Librarians
In the final week of school, we say goodbye to our Year 6 Librarians. They have done a fantastic job of helping Mrs Norfolk run the library smoothly and we couldn’t have done it with out you. We hope that you continue to have a love of books as you head off to high school.

Quad Kid Finalists!
A fantastic Well done to the 10 children who represented Heyhouses at the Quad Kid Event at Stanley Park!
