Year 6 learners rule the world!

Year Six have certainly been inspired by this week's English tasks!

Emelia had created this fabulous door design during Home Learning

as part of our English topic

'Doors - The World of Possibility'.

One of our home learners has completed their review of today's poem, 'The Door'.

School learners were also puzzled about the meaning of the line ..'the darkness ticking'....

In class, we decided that it could mean the passing of time, that nothing was happening in the darkness except time…

Holly has enjoyed designing and creating

One of our Keyworker Year Six Bubble drew this lovely picture of her imaginary door during our Tuesday English lesson. There were lots of creative ideas from learners at home and at school. Well done everyone.

Year 6 Home Learners are excelling in Art.

Their brief was to design a ritual dance costume for a Mayan Priest. The results are fabulous!

Well done children and thank you to all the parents supporting their children.

Year 6 home learners and key workers' children have been designing headdresses, masks and costumes suitable for a Mayan Priest.

Some children based their designs on research and others created their designs purely from imagination.
