Today in Science, we started our light and shadow topic. First we talked about natural and man made light sources. Then we drew a diagram of how we see objects. Then we got the torches out to have a bit of an explore making shadows with our hands and other objects. It was lots of fun, the torches…

Today we had our first session of cricket with Danny from Fylde Coast Cricket Coaching. It was so much fun and we all did really well. We practised skills such as catching, over arm bowling, batting and underarm aiming. Click to see photos.

During Mad Festival, Year 6 have been basing their work

around the musical - Cats.  

We made these cute cats by stuffing a sock and sewing on the cat's features.
