Class 2027

This week our maths focus has been on addition. We have been learning the key vocabulary for addition as well as exploring different methods and equipment in the classroom to help us to solve addition problems. 

This week we had lots of fun in gymnastics! We enjoyed getting the equipment out and exploring different ways to travel, move as well as lots of climbing and jumping! Here are a few pictures!

Number Formation

We started our first week in maths by playing lots of fun place value games and recapping on how to form our numbers correctly from 0-9.

Reception have been learning all about Judaism. We wrote our names in Hebrew, sang traditional songs and greeted each other using the word "Shalom", meaning peace. We made Torah scrolls, skull caps called Kippah and drew the Jewish special symbol, The Star of David. 

Reception were thrilled to meet Mabel the dog this week. She came into school with her owners Mrs Croston and Walt from Blossom Class.
