Class 2023

Year 4 were lucky enough to have a professional Musical Theatre Performer and Director come in to school to run a Singing workshop! 

They performed like true professionals!

Today, Poplar class investigated the weight of a variety of items. including fruit, vegetables, rocks, bricks and even ourselves!

For some reason, Miss Anderson and Mrs Johnson didn't let us weigh them! We couldn't work out why!

Cherry Class have had a fabulous Ancient Greek Day today. The children looked fantastic in their Grecian inspired costumes and enjoyed taking part in an Olympic Games, food tasting and creating a headdress.

Did you know that sound is created through vibrations? 

We do! We also know that sound travels in waves and is transmitted through something called a medium. 

Today, we investigated the differences of sound travelling through solids, liquids and gasses.

Cherry Class are enjoying learning about the Ancient Greeks this half term. In art, we have learnt about the origin of Greek key patterns and then had a go at creating our own.

This terms science topic is sound. 

Today, we investigated how sounds are made by identifying the vibrations made from a selection of musical instruments. 

In Maths, Year 4 have been learning about different types of charts. 

Today, Poplar class created a bar chart using their bodies on the playground!
